The “Recent Developments in European Law” course shall enable you to get an insight into and an understanding of European law as it applies in a number of different fields. Specifically, the course seeks to equip you with knowledge of recent issues of European law, i.a. the developments in the follow-up to the Lisbon Treaty. Given the wide-ranging nature of European law, we will concentrate only on some aspects of EU Law which will be discussed in more detail.
You are expected to prepare for the sessions and to take part actively in classroom debates. Therefore a good command of English is essential.
You will need a copy of the current Treaties (available online shortly).
The topics will be announced in due time before each session via this website.
